Our pampered vineyard

Meín real state appears in the history books of Galicia as one of the first population settlements. It was born under the protection of the San Clodio monastery, which is very closely tied to the origin of viniculture in the Ribeiro area in the XI and XII centuries. That is to say, it was right there, in Viña Meín and San Clodio, where Ribeiro wine was born.

The monks who planted the first vines were not wrong. The sabrego soil and the gentle South- and West-facing slopes make for the perfect place for viticulture.

Viña Meín owns 16 hectares of vineyards placed in the best slopes of the Valle del Avia (San Clodio and Gomariz) with Treixadura, Godello, Loureira, Torrontés, Albariño, Lado and Albilla, which produce enough to completely meet the winery demand.
